Remember - The World Needs Your Art

Are You Ready To Break Through Your Old Fears About Money? Are You Ready For Prosperity?

Here’s the replay of a special bonus event I did for the last Get It Done Teleclass that I thought you might enjoy –

There’s no selling on this webinar, just a bunch of content about money & charging what you’re worth. There’s even a super-practical segment on How To Double Your Prices, How To Earn Money From Your Creativity – this is for-real, from-the-trenches intelligence

“Hi Sam, It’s great being on the call today. You are amazing. I thank you for your wonderful work. It is percolating within me! – D., California

“Thanks for shining your light so we can see more clearly to move ahead.” – V., Southern California

“Thank You sooo much for all this wonderful advice …” – E., Italy

Let me know what YOU think, OK?

Yours,
Sam

Hi Sam, this thing with prices is tough. I live in Greece and everybody says ‘times are hard, you’ve got to sell sessions for 20 euros’ to which I usually answer a) like you said, when the price is cheap, people won’t feel the job is important enough and b) when charging too cheap, you will never attract the person who want s to pay a more expensive rate. I heard (quoting soul alignment) that people don’t pay us or our knowledge but the potential for growth in them as a result of the services rendered, i.e. our price is the amount they will invest really in themselves.

It’s Soul realignment and Andrea Hess – I miquoted her, it’s ‘We get paid for the potential transformation that can occur for our clients as a result of working with us’

That’s exactly right – people are ONLY paying you for the transformation. So make sure your marketing materials & conversations feature the transformation you offer.

In other words, you’re not saying, “I sell filing cabinets” you’re saying, “I offer people a way to lead a clean, clutter-free life.” And rather than saying, “I am a massage therapist,” you might say, “I offer body-and-soul healing” or “I show people the path to a full night’s sleep” or “I’m creating a world with no back pain” or “I help new mothers get acquainted with their new bodies.” See? It’s kind of fun, isn’t it?

So….everyone…what’s the transformation your clients experience when they work with YOU?

You’re smart to hold your ground, Rania. Times are hard all over, but I still notice all kinds of people spending all kinds of money on all kinds of stuff. Plus, when you have created a sustainable life for yourself, your work improves, and you have more to share & give back to the world. If you are depleted (financially or otherwise) then it’s very tough for you to do your best work.

I’m a big fan of having a bunch of stuff that I give away for free, a few lower-priced options (neither of which involve me giving any of my time – they are all pre-recorded audios or ebooks, etc) and then I charge a good price for the event where people are actually getting my time & energy. Make sense?

Good luck!

Hello Sam, WOW 80! Wonderful. I too have a Friend 93 that is now writing her memoirs. In one of your e-mails you mentioned sales person. Do you know Heidi Kash or Sue Kertis? They worked at Neiman Marcus. This is how I believe I connected with Katherine and Claire and perhaps you. Thanks for your words of wisdom as I too enjoy money! Sincerely, Kathleen
