That was outstanding!
"Sam, I learned a lot yet again! You always share just the right zingers to cut through the usual outmoded business B.S. and give me something fresh and new that re-lights my fire of inspiration. What was huge for me is that story you shared, "I'll show you — I can survive on crumbs!" That insight rings such a bell! Though my own reasons for "needing to prove" were very different from your friend's, they did escalate, and to a degree are still noticeable today in my 70s! You and your work are a true delight, and such a joy to watch as you've risen into your own lovely and laudable success over these years."

I felt a shift…
I'm a little bubbly and emotional writing this, but I want to tell you how grateful I am. ... I used to feel sorry for myself for such a long time about not having any traditional forms of support, but how wonderful it is to finally reach a place where I recognise my support isn't found in conventional places, in the same way I'm not a conventional person, and that the support I have is rich and just what I need. Thank you.
Today, I was rewarded…
After being creatively stuck, and otherwise in a tarpit of winter depression and exhaustion and general awfulness for about 8 weeks, I actually got about 15 minutes of work done today. There is nothing quite like feeling that energy shift. I am grateful and exhausted. I was reminded of all the wisdom around spiritual/creative practice, that the point of any regular routine sitting, prayer, meditation, or creative practice of any kind (in my case writing) is to get oneself ready, and keep oneself ready, for when the shift comes—even if you think it never will, even if you are a huddled mass of psychic pain and confusion.
Today I was rewarded because for about 20 minutes, I made a little headway, felt things loosening up, but mostly had that undeniable and welcome sensation of, "Okay, the pain is going away and we're back to it, now."
Sam, I think this is the WHOLE point of the discipline. This is "Getting It Done." This is your book.

Well worth the money…
I appreciate the insight…
Thanks for offering such an insightful teleconference on procrastination. You really delivered lots of practical information, exercises and tips. The exercises are straightforward, easy to use and yield 'can-do' action steps. Very impressive! So many of these 'free' calls are mostly fluff and advertising!
I appreciate the insight that the brains of creative people get overloaded and shut down because of too many variables and unknowns. That right there explains a lot!

Awareness and Knowledge…
Samantha Bennett is the definition of a teacher/guide—she imparts awareness and knowledge with the gusto of an Irish bartender and holds her students close like the protective lioness grooming her cubs to rule their jungle.
One of the best coaching sessions I’ve had for my business…
"Samantha gave me brilliant feedback tailored to my specific business. She provided insight on the right questions to ask and, most importantly, how to convey the value of what I do in a way that is highly effective, memorable, and authentic.
Speaking as a professional who creates the brand message for business owners, Samantha is the perfect match for someone in my profession–her ability to find the right words to convey your value is remarkable.
She has given me a highly effective process that I'm going to put into action immediately."
Sam’s kinda brilliant…
So have fun, don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do it, and keep Sam around as your capable guide.

Anyone can benefit…
"I believe people from any profession or any walk of life would benefit from the Get It Done workshop. Perhaps target all types of entertainers, retired people, students at colleges/universities, and new parents. Basically, anyone starting a new venture in their life would benefit from this work."

Trust this process!
"Samantha is intuitive and insightful; almost frighteningly so. Trust this process! All of the twists of it, the seemingly odd experiential exercises as well as the more concrete tools all serve to take you more deeply into you and to your goal."
"I wish there was some way to express to you how very much I appreciate your poems. I don’t throw around compliments very often (although maybe I should?) but your words go right to my heart, and there’s probably no other newsletter that I actually take the time to read and – gasp! – let it absorb. You’re real, you’re honest, and you’re dead-on. You have a gift and I am so grateful you choose to share it with strangers like me so freely and willingly. You rock."
Thanks a million!
Lots of love from Perú
It´s a triple celebration: end of the year, 1 year in business and my birthday (December 31st). I´m excited and scared, stressed and relaxed, all together. I look around and see how much has happened this past year, how much this program has helped me. Big wins... since I started CGCEO my income has multiplied itself 5 times, it´s crazy, I know. It's crazy to think that a little more than 2 years ago (before meeting Sam) I was crying in my bed, regretting I studied art as a major, thinking I will always suffer with my career. I wish I could hug you all, you're an awesome group of women, you're my tribe, thanks to you guys I can keep moving. I know that I'm not alone. Lots of love from Perú"

A life-changing experience…
I realized that I was beating myself up with all the webinars and voluminous emails targeted toward helping life coaches market themselves - that I was feeling guilty, that I really didn't want to be mainly a life coach but felt that I should because I had all this training and I've been doing it for years (on a small scale) and do love to help people change and flourish.
I saw that the time I was spending on trying to do coaching marketing was taking me away from the passion I had denied myself (out of fear of rejection) for 40 years while I was an advertising illustrator and ad exec - singing & performing cabaret material. Now I've been preparing for a cabaret show that's coming up in less than three weeks and I thought "This is crazy! I could be having so much joy spending more time with that if I just stop trying to do something that wasn't in my heart!"
It looks so simple when I write it here, it's amazing it was such a long time coming. I'm 76 years old and you would think I could have given this to myself sooner! I'm happier than ever before in my life!!!! I'm just so grateful that I'm able to keep on growing and keep on learning and keep on shifting and changing!
Thank you with all my heart for the immense part you're playing, Sam!
What a smart and human way to get you moving…
If I'm being honest I wasn't expecting what I've experienced so far with the Get It Done Workshop, sure, the Get It Done book is great, but this course isn't how I'd imagined at all. You find you've leapt down a rabbit hole, when you thought you were entering a door marked "Self Motivation and Productivity". This is much deeper than that. What a smart and human way to get you moving without all the usual tiring grim optimism of traditional methods. You're interacting with a living thing with this whole process. As a result you'll be changed.
This is an authentic process because its author has "been there, done that." She is one of us.
For me these materials are powerful and effective because they're not simply beautifully polished psychological or spiritual pearls to be stroked and admired from a distance. No, this is a Specials Operation
Manual for artists and creative people, those on the front line of self-esteem, which can be destroyed at any moment.
Thick in enemy territory, where others may not be thrilled by what you produce, or even relish the fact you don't produce anything at all! This territory is real and you know it well, now you can learn how to navigate it well, and thrive in it.
So have no fear. You're being trained, re-programmed, from the inside by a specialist in these peculiarly difficult territories. The tools you'll use have that indefinable feel of 'real working tools', ones actually used in action. They either work, or they're ditched. There's too much at stake here. Your life. Your dreams. Remember those?
It's worth repeating: temporary positive ra-ra feel good stuff isn't going to cut it when you're out there taking shots, or sabotaging yourself from within. That's why you need well designed materials, from someone with actual experience on the front line.
Even as you start to use them you'll intuitively recognise the qualities of these tools, which have clearly been refined over the years. No 'inspired' nonsense from a bogus guru here. This is the real, mucky stuff that works, and can even be fun. To continue the military metaphor, these tools have earned their stripes. Sam has
You, reading this, are a unique individual who distrusts testimonials, just like me. To be sure, not every last thing will chime and thrill you in Get It Done, and that's ok. Sam and her methods acknowledge this. You're a human adult and the time has come to take action on what matters to you. No great drama, just a genuine process that WILL actively engage YOU.
We're both adult enough, you the reader of these words and myself the Surprised-To-Be-Writing-A-Testimonial Person, to appreciate that it will only ever be YOU who gets things done, you're the only one that will ever make the changes. It can be a scary truth to acknowledge that, especially in the happy-clappy glittery world of Self-Improvement Without Tears.
Fortunately for us Sam deals in YOU, warts and all. Fully human, fully flawed and her methods and approaches are based on that recognition. Smart, practical, compassionate, above all adult. This is why these
methods work. You know in your heart what needs to be done, but having a smart, crafty, and yes, funny guide to keep you on YOUR straight and narrow is invaluable. That's what you'll experience with "Get It Done."
The beauty for me is not having to buy into another philosophy of life or viewpoint. This is about a constant process, steady feedback. Simply refer to the "Special Operations Manual," get back on the horse and off you go again.
I've never encountered a productivity/get-things-done method that has "You're not perfect, but you are unique" at its beating heart. Many pay lip service to this, but Sam's approach feels like its been
grown and honed over the years. Because results do matter in the end, not simply feeling good.
That's the adult part of "Get It Done." There's a number of unpleasant realities that need to be faced and processed not simply acknowledged and quickly waved away. Get It Done is unique in getting them out from
under the bed, perhaps in time to even use as allies. Or if not, at least something you can use as a lever to move where you want to be.
Sam talks to you as an artist, a creative person, and above all as an Official Weird Person™. This is a beautiful and important point. This validation of your difference is at the heart of Sam's methods. I've never encountered this approach before. As artists or creative people we know that Sam is one of us. That is a significant chunk of inertia removed right there. We feel at home with her, because...well, because she's one of us.
We all know little and often works, but it almost sounds too banal and simplistic, but engaging with Get It Done you experience its very real power.
I love the way Sam's method are based on the idea of bringing out what is already in you. If your creative spirit were an animal then you, via Sam, create an environment where it no longer feels threatened and can appear in broad daylight, even thrive. Again, that's a unique quality I've discovered with these materials and no others.
You no longer have to be a self-improvement Don Quixote tilting at tedious imaginary targets which you don't really care about and would do you no good; instead you can focus and align yourself, so ironically enough, you simply get out of you own way. No dazzling lights, heavenly choirs, just simple steady daily methods that wont freak out and awaken the Monster Of Inertia or upset that Crazy Artist Rebel inside you who's so rebellious they will even rebel at creating any art at all.
If you're willing to meet the Get It Done approaches half-way, you'll be in a great position to move forward with your 'stuff'. Initially I have to be honest and admit I felt overwhelmed with these approaches, but that's simply part of the process, there are fail safes built in to this approach every step of the way.
How can I say this? Because I'm still using and exploring these methods. Normally by now I'd have thought "Stuff this, it's too much like work!"—Yes, it is work, that's because this is a real living process you're
engaging with, but it WILL re-energise you. You'll recognise and feel so much better for finally, FINALLY, starting on what you were put here to do.
Sam certainly doesn't deal in Rainbows and Unicorns, this is the real deal, you WILL acknowledge your monsters and learn to process and work with these as a part of what you are. Lets face it non of us are Angels
and that's fine. Sam is ok with that too, you're a unique weird human being just as you should be. All petulant frenzies can be dealt with in a sane, practical, and discreet manner.
In conclusion, Sam seems to have a genius for developing easy, natural approaches and techniques to rally your troops, all without tweaking the nose of inertia, which is often the case with other methods. Here you
can acknowledge your monsters but are also smart enough to maneuver around them and simply get on with your own projects.
Of course the acid test is where I'll be a couple of years from now, but I've no great concerns about that. Given the way this process works why should I? As cheesy as this might sound, I am concerned about you reading this right now. If a testimonial-hating, grumpy cynic like me can embrace this fluid, crafty approach then why not you?
